FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I uninstall the plugin?

A: You can go to your Admin menu, click Plugins, Onelinerz, then click disable.  Then if you wish to remove completely, just click uninstall, and choose to either leave the files or delete them as well. You only need to leave them if you plan on reactivating the plugin at some point. At any rate you can always re-download and install at anytime, it only takes a few seconds.

Q: How do I get support for your free edition plugins?

A: Click on Contact from the navigation menu at the top of any page, and fill in the contact form and send. Please be aware that support for any free software is best effort. I have a full time job, and in my spare time I’m normally working on enhancing the paid products.

Q: There is an issue with the plugin and I only get errors on the screen, how can I get back into WordPress to disable the plugin and get the site going again?

A: Rarely there are times when any plugin, regardless of where it comes from can conflict with another plugin. Generally these errors are due to conflicting variables etc. If something like this happens, you will need to either FTP in to your site, or use a file manager such as the one GoDaddy makes available, and navigate to your wordpress/wp-content/plugins directory, and manual remove the plugin in question. This will let you log back into the site, as WordPress will automatically disable and remove references to any plugin that does not exist under this directory. If something like this happens, then please let me know via the contact form, and I’ll work with you to fix the issue. Please be sure to tell me any other plugins you are running, WordPress version, template name and version, as well as any child themes you might be running.
