Data Controller
The data controller for this Site is Skyblue Soft, reachable at support@skyblue-soft.com. If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, this policy describes your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR. This policy covers skyblue-soft.com only — Sentinel AI Firewall (sentinelaifirewall.com) is a separate product with its own privacy policy.
What We Collect
- Email signup form — name (optional), email address, and an optional dropdown indicating what you're evaluating Sentinel for, submitted through the "Stay updated on Sentinel" form. Legal basis: consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)) — this is a strictly opt-in form, nothing is collected unless you submit it.
- Standard server request logs — IP-derived geographic region, browser/user-agent, referrer, and requested page, logged server-side on every page request. This is ordinary web server logging, not a tracking cookie or client-side fingerprint. Legal basis: legitimate interests (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) in operating and securing the Site.
Email Communications
If you submit the email signup form, we use your email address to send occasional product-update and marketing emails about Sentinel. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), given by submitting the form. You can withdraw consent at any time — either via the unsubscribe link included in every email, or by contacting us — without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal (Article 7(3)). We do not sell or share your email address with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Third Parties
- Vercel — hosts this Site. Vercel Privacy Policy
- Calendly — powers the scheduling widget on our Book a Demo page, only loaded if you visit that page. Calendly Privacy Policy
- dev.to — our Blog page fetches our own public post list from dev.to's public API. No data about you is sent to dev.to as part of this.
Cookies
We don't set any tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies ourselves. Your light/dark theme preference is stored in your browser's local storage, not a cookie, and never leaves your device. If you visit our Book a Demo page, Calendly's embedded widget may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy, linked above.
Data Retention
Email signups are currently retained in our hosting provider's operational logs only. Once we launch a dedicated subscriber list, submissions will be retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Standard server request logs are retained for a limited operational period for security and troubleshooting purposes, then discarded.
Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are in the EEA or UK, you have the right to access, rectify, or request erasure of your personal data (Articles 15–17), restrict or object to processing (Articles 18, 21), request data portability (Article 20), withdraw consent at any time (Article 7(3)), and lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (e.g. the ICO in the UK). To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@skyblue-soft.com. We will respond within 30 days.
